Data Deletion Instructions

Your right to erasure

Under GDPR (Art. 17) and Türkiye's KVKK (Art. 11), you can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. This page explains exactly how to do that for any Softween product, including apps that authenticate via Facebook/Meta Login.

What this page covers

These instructions apply to every Softween product and integration, including:

• softween.com and its subdomains
• Softween apps that use Facebook Login or Facebook Business APIs (e.g. softween-wp-api)
• Customer or partner accounts on Softween-operated platforms
• Marketing, support, and analytics data we collected from you directly

How to request deletion

Send a deletion request and we will process it within 30 days, in line with GDPR and KVKK timelines.

   Email us

   Send an email to [email protected] from the address associated with your account. Subject line: "Data Deletion Request".

   Tell us which app

   Mention the Softween product or app you used (e.g. "softween-wp-api Facebook app"), and any usernames, emails, or Facebook account IDs we should match against.

   Verification

   We may ask one follow-up question to verify you are the data subject before deleting any record. We never share data with third parties as part of this process.

   Confirmation

   You will receive a written confirmation once deletion is complete, including which categories of data were removed.

Deleting data from Facebook/Meta-connected apps

If you connected a Softween app to your Facebook account, you can revoke access at any time:

• Go to Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
• Find the relevant Softween app (for example, softween-wp-api) and click "Remove".
• Email [email protected] to also delete any data we already stored on our side.

How long it takes

We acknowledge requests within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days. Backup copies are purged on the next scheduled rotation, no later than 90 days after the request.

What we may keep

We retain only the minimum information required by law (for example, invoicing records under Turkish Tax Code and audit logs proving your deletion request was honored). Everything else is permanently removed.
